The Nile
The river crosses the map as a broad band, dividing the town from the opposite bank and shaping everything around it, from roads to irrigated fields.

Ang mapa
Nag Hammâdi Map Poster & Print
Nag Hammâdi lies on the Nile in Qena Governorate, in Upper Egypt. On the map, the river is everything: a broad band of water with a narrow strip of irrigated farmland on each side and desert beyond. The town sits along the bank, with streets and canals arranged in the fertile valley floor.
The town is known worldwide for the Nag Hammadi library, a collection of early Christian and Gnostic texts discovered in the nearby hills in 1945. It is also home to a barrage across the Nile and to one of Egypt's largest aluminium plants, both visible as distinct features from above.
A Nag Hammâdi map poster shows the essential geography of Egypt in a single frame: a river, a green corridor and the dry land beyond it. Canals and field boundaries add fine detail, while the town itself is a compact cluster by the water. The contrast gives the map clarity and depth.

Irrigation canals
A network of canals carries water from the Nile into the farmland, adding fine, branching lines across the valley floor on either side of the town.
Desert edge
Beyond the cultivated strip, the land turns abruptly to desert, a clean boundary that frames the valley and gives the map its striking structure.
