Compact town core
The oldest streets gather in a tight, irregular cluster at the centre. In black and white this becomes the densest part of the print, a dark focal point against the open ground around it.

Kortið
Ilgın sits in the western part of Konya Province, on the broad upland plains of central Anatolia. From above, the town is a dense, fairly compact cluster of streets. Around it the land opens into a pattern of field boundaries and rural roads. The contrast is sharp: a small knot of detailed urban fabric surrounded by wide, quiet space that fills the edges of the frame.
Look at the centre and you can see an older core of short, irregular streets. Newer blocks on the outskirts follow straighter lines. Main roads run out from town toward neighbouring settlements, and a railway line passes nearby, drawing a long, gentle curve across the plain. On an Ilgın map poster these few strong lines give the composition its structure, while the fine street mesh in the middle adds texture.
Ilgın is best known for its thermal springs, which have been used as baths since the Seljuk period. The town also has an Ottoman-era mosque complex linked to the statesman Lala Mustafa Pasha. For most visitors, though, it is a working market town serving the surrounding agricultural district. A map of it is a portrait of ordinary life on the Anatolian plateau, drawn in plain lines.
The oldest streets gather in a tight, irregular cluster at the centre. In black and white this becomes the densest part of the print, a dark focal point against the open ground around it.
A railway and the main roads cross the plain near town in long, unbroken strokes. These lines anchor the composition and show how Ilgın connects to the wider region around Konya.
Beyond the built-up edge, rural tracks and field boundaries spread in a loose geometric pattern. They fill the margins of the poster with a lighter, quieter texture typical of central Anatolian farmland.

Hví Ilgın
People who grew up in Ilgın, or who came for the thermal baths, often want a reminder that doesn't look like a souvenir. A clean map of the town's streets does that quietly. It suits a hallway, a study or a gift for family who have moved to the big cities or abroad.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family name or a meaningful date. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The poster comes as HD files for $9 in six print sizes, or as a matte print with an optional wooden frame.
