Shepherds Bush lies in west London, in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. Its centre is Shepherd's Bush Green, a triangle of open ground where the Uxbridge Road, Goldhawk Road and other main streets meet. From above, the green is the clear focal point, surrounded by shops and terraced residential streets that spread north towards White City and south towards Brook Green.
