Border with Lomé
The frontier runs inland from the coast through continuous built-up land, so the poster shows Aflao and Lomé as neighbouring halves of one urban area.

La carte
Aflao Map Poster & Print
Aflao sits at the southeastern corner of Ghana, on the Gulf of Guinea coast, pressed right up against the border with Togo. On the map the town has no eastern edge of its own: its streets continue almost seamlessly into Lomé, the Togolese capital, with only the border line to separate them.
The crossing here is the main gateway between the two countries and a key point on the coastal road linking Accra with Lomé and the wider West African coast. Trade shapes the town, and the pattern of streets reflects it, with dense blocks near the crossing and a looser spread of lanes further inland and along the shore.
An Aflao map poster tells a story that few maps can: a single urban fabric divided by a political line. Add the sandy shoreline to the south and the lagoons and flat coastal land to the west, and the result is a clear, meaningful composition for anyone with roots on either side of the border.

Pourquoi Aflao
Une carte qui a du sens
Aflao is a place of arrivals and departures, and many families have ties on both sides of the border. A map that shows the town and its neighbour together is a fitting way to remember where those journeys begin.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a family name or a date, and keep or change the coordinates. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and download 300 DPI PNG and PDF files for $9.
