Sintra line
The railway toward Lisbon runs through the town, with the station as a central point from which many streets branch. It is a strong line that orders the whole poster.

Algueirão Map Poster & Print
Algueirão is part of the urban area of Algueirão–Mem Martins in the municipality of Sintra, on the western side of the Lisbon metropolitan area. The parish is among the most populous in Portugal, and from above that shows as a tight pattern of apartment blocks, short streets and small squares covering the hills around the railway.
The Sintra line is the main structural line on the map. It runs east toward Lisbon, with the station close to the centre of the town. Streets branch from it in irregular patterns, climbing and descending the slopes, while ring roads and connecting highways wrap around the built-up area and link it to the rest of Greater Lisbon.
To the west the ground rises toward the Serra de Sintra, with its woods and palaces, a very different landscape only a short distance away. An Algueirão map poster frames the dense residential fabric that most visitors to the region never see: the everyday suburb where many of its residents actually live.

Dense blocks
Apartment blocks fill the hills in closely packed rows, forming a fine, detailed texture that shows especially well in the Classic black & white and Noir styles.
Toward the Serra
West of the town, fields and scattered settlements lead toward the Sintra hills, giving the map an open edge that contrasts with the urban core.

Pourquoi Algueirão
Une carte qui a du sens
For those who grew up in Algueirão or commute from it every day, the map is a portrait of home rather than a postcard view. It captures the real neighbourhood: the station, the local streets and the hills around them.
The title can carry a street or family name, the subtitle a date, and the coordinates line can be adjusted. Choose one of five styles, download the $9 HD files to print locally, or order a matte poster from a print partner.
