Amphoe Sikhiu Map Poster & Print
Sikhiu is a district in the west of Nakhon Ratchasima province in northeastern Thailand, on the edge of the Khorat Plateau. The district center stretches along Mittraphap Road, the main highway connecting Bangkok with the northeast. On a map, the town's streets form a strip following that road, and the railway line to Nakhon Ratchasima runs close by.
The district contains part of the Lam Takhong reservoir, whose irregular, branching shoreline is the most distinctive water feature in the area. To the south and west, the land becomes hillier and more wooded, rising toward the ranges that separate the plateau from central Thailand. Elsewhere, farmland stretches out in broad parcels.
An Amphoe Sikhiu map poster works best at a wider framing, where the town, the highway and the reservoir all appear together. The straight transport lines contrast with the reservoir's branching arms and the curving roads in the hills. For anyone from the district, or anyone who has passed through on the way to Khorat, it is a clear portrait of the place.

Lam Takhong reservoir
The large reservoir spreads into several branching arms. Its outline adds a bold, irregular water shape to an otherwise land-based composition.
Northeastern railway
The rail line toward Nakhon Ratchasima follows the valley near the highway. Together they form a pair of long lines crossing the frame.
