Andradina Map Poster & Print
Andradina sits in the northwest of São Paulo state, a short distance from the Paraná River and the border with Mato Grosso do Sul. The map shows a clear, deliberate plan: a regular grid of square blocks, broad avenues and a central square, with newer neighbourhoods extending the same pattern outward. Around the town the land is open pasture and farmland, crossed by long, straight roads.
The town takes its name from its founder, Antônio Joaquim de Moura Andrade, a rancher known as the king of cattle, who established it in the 1930s. Cattle raising remains central to the local economy, and the region's agricultural fairs draw visitors from across the area. The large reservoirs and dams of the Paraná lie within reach.
An Andradina map poster reflects the order of a planned frontier town: straight streets, even blocks and a firm central axis, all set against the open space of the countryside. It is a strong, geometric composition that works well at larger sizes, and it carries a sense of the ambition with which towns in this region were laid out.
