River meanders
The Araranguá River curves in wide loops beside the town. Those bends are the most distinctive shapes on the map and give it an organic, flowing quality.

Araranguá Map Poster & Print
Araranguá lies on the southern coast of Santa Catarina, a short distance inland from the Atlantic. The river that shares its name runs past the town in wide meanders on its way to the sea. On the map it is the dominant feature: a looping line that sets the town's edge and then crosses the coastal plain to its mouth.
The urban area is a mostly regular pattern of streets on flat ground, with the BR-101 highway running north–south nearby as the main link along the coast. Toward the ocean the land becomes a strip of beaches and dunes. The best known spot is Morro dos Conventos, a headland with cliffs above the river mouth that is popular with visitors from across the region.
An Araranguá map poster combines three layers of southern Brazil: a working inland town, a winding river and the open Atlantic shore. In black and white the river loops stand out sharply against the street grid, and the coastline closes the composition with one long line. It is a thoughtful keepsake for anyone from the region.

Coastal plain and beaches
East of town, flat land runs to a long Atlantic shoreline. The coast forms a clean edge along one side of the poster.
Morro dos Conventos
Near the river mouth, a headland with cliffs breaks the straight line of the coast. It is a local landmark and a natural endpoint for the map.
