Kura River
The Kura runs through the town, splitting it into two parts joined by bridges, and gives the map a natural centreline that organises the streets on either bank.

Ardahan Map Poster & Print
Ardahan is the capital of Ardahan Province in northeastern Turkey, near the borders with Georgia. It stands high on an open plateau, and winters here are among the coldest in the country. The Kura River, which later flows through Georgia and Azerbaijan to the Caspian Sea, runs through the town.
The river is the main axis of the map, with streets on both banks linked by bridges. Ardahan Castle, an Ottoman fortress from the sixteenth century, sits beside the Kura, its outline still visible in the town plan. Beyond the built-up edge, wide grasslands spread out toward distant mountains.
An Ardahan map poster brings together a river, a fortress and an open plateau. The compact town looks especially clear against the empty highland around it, a strong and simple composition that anyone who knows this remote corner of Anatolia will recognise.

Ardahan Castle
The Ottoman fortress beside the river leaves a distinct angular footprint in the town plan, one of the oldest surviving structures in the region.
Open highland
Treeless plateau grassland surrounds the town, leaving a large empty field on the map that makes Ardahan's compact shape stand out.

Pourquoi Ardahan
Une carte qui a du sens
Ardahan is a place people carry with them: long winters, summer pastures and a town gathered along the river. A map of its streets is a fitting tribute for those who grew up here or served in the region, and a quiet reminder of home.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates with a name, a year or a meaningful phrase. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Noir suits the stark highland setting particularly well.
