La carte
Arhavi Map Poster & Print
Arhavi lies on the eastern Black Sea coast of Turkey in Artvin province, where the mountains come almost down to the sea. The town grew at the mouth of the Arhavi river, and on the map it occupies a narrow strip of flat land along the shore, with the coastal highway running parallel to the water.
Behind the town the valleys climb steeply into the Kaçkar foothills. The slopes are covered with forest and tea gardens, and small roads twist up the valley to villages on the hillsides. The river cuts inland in a clear line, and the contrast between the straight coast and the winding interior is striking.
An Arhavi map poster shows a place shaped by sea, river and mountain in a single frame. The shoreline makes a firm edge, the river valley leads the eye inland, and the web of hill roads fans out behind the town. It is a compact, characteristic picture of the Black Sea coast.

Pourquoi Arhavi
Une carte qui a du sens
For people from Arhavi and the villages above it, a map brings together the sea, the river and the mountain roads they know by heart. It is especially meaningful for those who live far from the Black Sea.
Add a title, subtitle and coordinates line of your choice, and choose from five styles, such as Blueprint or Noir. HD files cost $9 with no watermark, and matte printed posters ship with an optional frame.
