Sierra Elvira
A small, rugged range rises just beyond the town, leaving an open, largely roadless area on the poster that contrasts with the dense streets below.

Atarfe Map Poster
Atarfe lies a short distance northwest of Granada, on the broad agricultural plain known as the Vega. Its map has two distinct sides: flat land with fields and irrigation channels stretching away to the south and west, and to the north the rise of Sierra Elvira, a compact, rocky range. Between them, a dense older core gives way to newer residential streets.
The slopes of Sierra Elvira hold the remains of Madinat Ilbira, a city that served as a major centre of the region in the early Islamic period, before Granada rose to prominence. Today Atarfe is closely tied to the Granada metropolitan area, with modern roads and the airport not far away. In black and white, plain, hills and town form an unusually varied composition.
An Atarfe map poster suits residents, families with roots in the Vega and anyone interested in the layered history of Granada's surroundings. It shows the town in its setting: the irregular streets of the centre, the more regular newer neighbourhoods and the calm, open land of the plain, with the sierra marking a firm edge.

Vega de Granada
The fertile plain stretches out from the town, crossed by farm tracks and irrigation channels that form a fine network across the open land.
Older centre
Narrow streets at the heart of Atarfe bend and meet at irregular angles, the densest part of the map and the core from which newer districts spread.

Pourquoi Atarfe
Une carte qui a du sens
Atarfe is where the sierra meets the Vega, a setting that shapes daily life and local identity. A map poster preserves that relationship between town and landscape in a way that feels both personal and understated.
Choose your own title and subtitle, perhaps a family surname or a wedding date, and edit the coordinates line. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand suits the warm Andalusian light on the plain.
