Town centre
The main roads converge in the centre, where blocks are smallest and the street pattern is most concentrated, giving the poster a natural point of focus.

La carte
Badessa Map Poster & Print
Badessa is a town in the South Ethiopia Regional State, set in the green, densely farmed highlands of the country's south. On a map it appears as a compact centre where the main roads meet, surrounded by a looser pattern of lanes, compounds and small fields that extends well beyond the town itself. The lines are simple and the scale is human, which makes for an understated composition.
Much of the surrounding landscape is agricultural, with homesteads and cultivated plots spread across rolling terrain. Roads leading out of Badessa connect it to neighbouring towns and to the regional network, and they form the strongest lines on the map. Between them, footpaths and minor tracks create a fine web that shows how people actually move through this countryside.
A Badessa map poster is less about monuments than about the everyday shape of a place: where the roads cross, where the streets are most closely built, and how the town fades into the fields. Printed in a restrained style, that shape becomes a clean, graphic image with a strong and specific sense of location.

Radiating roads
Routes to neighbouring towns leave the centre in several directions, long lines that anchor the composition and tie Badessa into the wider highland region.
Farmland fabric
Beyond the edge of town, tracks and paths wind between fields and homesteads, a delicate texture that fills the outer part of the frame.
