La carte
Bathurst Map Poster & Print
Bathurst lies on the Macquarie River in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales, west of the Blue Mountains. Its centre follows a clear grid of wide streets laid out in the colonial era, with parks and civic buildings set within it. The river curves along the town's eastern side, separating it from the open plains beyond.
Founded in 1815, Bathurst is often described as the oldest inland European settlement in Australia. It is also known well beyond the state for Mount Panorama, the hill circuit that hosts the Bathurst 1000 motor race each year. When not used for racing, the circuit is a public road.
A Bathurst map poster shows two strong shapes side by side: the orderly grid of the old town and the looping track climbing the hill to the south-west. The river adds a soft curve to the composition. It suits locals, racing fans and anyone who has spent time in the region.

Colonial grid
The town centre follows a regular arrangement of broad streets. From above the blocks create a calm, even pattern around parks and civic buildings.
Macquarie River
The river runs past the town on its eastern side. Its curves and floodplain provide a natural boundary for the map.

Pourquoi Bathurst
Une carte qui a du sens
Bathurst means different things to different people: a home, a university town, a race weekend with friends. A map poster captures the grid and the circuit together, giving each of them a place on the wall.
Add a title, a subtitle such as a race year, and the coordinates, then choose one of five styles. The $9 HD pack includes files for 18×24 and 24×36 inches as well as metric sizes.
