La carte
Berehove Map Poster & Print
Berehove lies in the far west of Ukraine, in Zakarpattia, a short distance from the border with Hungary. The town stands where the flat lowland of the upper Tisza basin meets the first low hills. On the map its streets fan out from a small central area and give way to fields on the plain and vineyards on the rising ground.
Known in Hungarian as Beregszász, Berehove is the main centre of the Hungarian community in Zakarpattia, and signs, schools and churches reflect this mixed heritage. The town is known for its wine, grown on the nearby slopes, and for its thermal baths, fed by warm mineral springs.
A Berehove map poster shows a town on the edge of two landscapes. The centre forms a dense, irregular knot of streets, with roads extending outward across the plain toward the border and neighbouring villages. Toward the hills the plots become more regular and the vineyards bring order to the slopes.

Vineyard slopes
The low hills near town are covered with vineyards. From above they form regular strips and plots that differ from the fields on the plain.
Border plain
West of town the land is flat and open toward the Hungarian border, crossed by straight roads and field boundaries in a wide rural landscape.

Pourquoi Berehove
Une carte qui a du sens
For families with roots in Zakarpattia, for the Hungarian community of Beregszász and for visitors drawn by its wine and thermal waters, this map is a reminder of a small town with its own mixed identity. It works well as a gift across borders.
You can add a title in Ukrainian, Hungarian or English, a subtitle and a date, and edit the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper gives the vineyard pattern a gentle, textured look.
