The Vyr valley
The small Vyr river winds past the town, and its soft bends set the direction of many streets. On the poster it becomes a single thin line that anchors the whole composition.

Bilopillia Map Poster & Print
Bilopillia sits in the north-east of Ukraine, in the Sumy region and only a short distance from the Russian border. On a map the town gathers around the valley of the Vyr, a small river whose curves give the street plan its orientation. Houses and gardens spread from the centre in loose blocks before thinning into the fields that surround the town on every side.
The settlement dates back to the seventeenth century, when this stretch of steppe frontier was being settled and farmed. Its layout still reflects that rural origin: a modest centre, a railway line crossing the edge of town, and long residential streets that follow the terrain rather than a strict grid. From above, the pattern reads as quiet and domestic, closer to a large village than a city.
A Bilopillia map poster keeps that texture intact. Rendered in fine black lines, the river valley, the rail line and the private-house streets become a calm pattern of curves and short straight runs. It is a small place on the scale of the country, but its map carries the particular geometry of a north-eastern Ukrainian town, recognisable to anyone who grew up walking those streets.

Private-house streets
Much of Bilopillia is made of long lanes lined with single houses and gardens. From above they form narrow parallel strips that give the map an even, woven texture.
Fields at the edge
Beyond the last streets the town gives way to open farmland. The sparse outer edge frames the denser centre and shows how closely the town sits within its agricultural landscape.
