Old town lanes
Narrow, winding streets form a dense core around the older havelis and the fort. The intricate pattern stands out sharply against the flat plain around it.

Bissāu Map Poster & Print
Bissāu is a town in the Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan, part of the Shekhawati region on the semi-arid plains in the north of the state. From above it looks like a compact settlement with an irregular web of old lanes at its heart. Flat, open farmland and sandy ground surround it, and roads run out in straight lines toward neighbouring towns.
Like many Shekhawati towns, Bissāu is known for its havelis, merchant houses with painted walls built by trading families. A fort stands in the town. The older quarter's narrow streets, courtyards and small squares create a dense, intricate texture that contrasts with the openness of the land around it.
The town is also known for a Ramlila tradition performed in mime by masked actors, staged in the open during the festival season. A Bissāu map poster shows the place as a finely detailed core set within the calm geometry of the fields, a compact portrait of a Shekhawati town seen from above.

Straight roads outward
Roads leave the town in long, nearly straight lines across the flat countryside. They link Bissāu to nearby Shekhawati towns and frame the poster with clean strokes leading outward.
Open farmland
Fields and sandy ground surround the settlement. Rendered as quiet open space, they show how compact and self-contained the historic town remains.

Pourquoi Bissāu
Une carte qui a du sens
Bissāu speaks to families with Shekhawati roots, including the many Marwari business families who trace their origins to towns like this one. A map of the old lanes is a quiet tribute to ancestral homes, and it suits a study or a family room.
You can put a family name in the title, a line about the haveli or a date in the subtitle, and set the coordinates. Sand and Paper give a warmer look, and Classic black & white, Noir and Blueprint are also available. Printed posters can come with an optional wooden frame.
