Ceadîr-Lunga Map Poster & Print
Ceadîr-Lunga is the second-largest town in Gagauzia, the autonomous region in southern Moldova. From above, it spreads widely across gently rolling steppe country. Long, straight streets are lined with low houses and deep garden plots, a layout common to farming towns in the Bugeac region. Beyond it, vineyards and fields stretch towards the horizon.
The town takes part of its name from the small Lunga river, whose shallow valley runs through the area. On the map, the waterway and a few ponds appear as thin, meandering lines among the rectilinear streets. A railway line and regional roads pass the town, adding firmer lines to the otherwise even pattern.
A Ceadîr-Lunga map poster reflects a distinctive corner of Europe, home to the Turkic-speaking Gagauz people, in a clean graphic form. The generous blocks and wide streets give the print an airy, spacious feel, and it suits anyone with family roots in southern Moldova.
