Changuinola River
The river meanders across the lowland in wide loops. It is drawn as a soft line that cuts through the straighter geometry of the fields and roads around town.

Changuinola Map Poster & Print
Changuinola is the largest town in Panama's Bocas del Toro Province, on a flat coastal plain near the border with Costa Rica. It grew as a centre of the banana industry, and much of the surrounding land is still laid out as plantations. On a map the town sits inside a larger pattern of straight farm roads and drainage canals.
The Changuinola River winds across the plain, and its loops contrast with the rigid geometry of the plantations. Toward the sea the land turns to wetland and swamp forest, including the protected San San Pond Sak area, which appears as a large quiet zone on the map. The town itself is a dense, fairly regular grid threaded along the main road.
A Changuinola map poster brings together three distinct patterns: the organic river, the ruled lines of farmland and the compact street grid. That combination gives the print a strong graphic character. It appeals to people from Bocas del Toro, to anyone who has crossed the nearby border at Guabito and to those who know banana country firsthand.

Plantation grid
Banana farms surround the town with straight tracks and drainage canals. These create large rectangular blocks that fill much of the poster.
Coastal wetlands
Extensive wetlands lie between the town and the Caribbean, including San San Pond Sak. They appear as open space with scattered channels and water.
