La carte
Chantilly Map Poster & Print
Chantilly is a community in western Fairfax County, Virginia, just south of Washington Dulles International Airport. From above, it is defined by major roads. Route 50 and Route 28 cross the area, and around them sit large commercial districts, office parks and suburban neighbourhoods of curving streets and cul-de-sacs.
Chantilly is home to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, the large companion facility of the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum. The center houses aircraft and spacecraft including the Space Shuttle Discovery. The area also saw fighting during the Civil War, at the Battle of Chantilly in 1862.
A Chantilly map poster captures the geometry of modern Northern Virginia. Broad highways and interchanges give the map strong lines, the big footprints of commercial and airport land add bold shapes, and residential loops fill the spaces in between with a softer, repeating texture.

Pourquoi Chantilly
Une carte qui a du sens
Chantilly is where many people start a career, buy a first house or raise a family. A map poster marks that chapter, and it can centre on your neighbourhood with the coordinates set to your street.
Change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to add a family name or a date, and choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the area's aviation connection. HD files cost $9, or you can order a printed poster.
