Dalianwan Map Poster & Print
Dalianwan is a town in Jinzhou District of Dalian, on the Liaodong Peninsula in Liaoning. Its name means Dalian Bay, and it lies along the northern shore of that bay, looking south across open water toward the main city. On the map the town is a strip of streets pressed between the coast and rising hills.
The shoreline is the most dynamic part of the composition, with small harbours, fishing piers, reclaimed land and beaches alternating along the edge. The surrounding area has long been associated with fishing and seafood, and new developments have extended the built-up area along the coast in recent decades toward neighbouring parts of Dalian.
A Dalianwan map poster captures a Liaodong coastline in miniature. The bay sweeps across the lower part of the map, the town follows its curve, and the hills behind add a band of sparse roads and green space. It is a composed, horizontal image, well suited to a wide frame and to anyone with ties to Dalian's northern shore.

Harbour piers
Small fishing harbours and jetties project into the water in short straight lines, among the most distinctive details of the coastline.
Hills behind the coast
Low hills rise inland from the shore, where the street network thins and roads wind between slopes, framing the town from the north.

Pourquoi Dalianwan
Une carte qui a du sens
For people from Jinzhou and Dalian, the northern shore of the bay is a familiar place of seafood markets, summer swims and views back toward the city. A map poster of Dalianwan keeps that coastline in view.
Personalise the title and subtitle, for example with a family name or a date, and keep or change the coordinates line. Noir gives the bay a deep, strong contrast; Classic black & white, Paper, Blueprint and Sand are also available.
