La carte
Erba Map Poster & Print
Erba lies in the province of Como in Lombardy, on the plain where the Brianza meets the first slopes of the Prealps. Its streets extend along the base of wooded hills, and to the south the small lakes of Alserio and Pusiano sit in the low ground, adding two clear bodies of water to the map.
The town is made up of several historic hamlets that grew together over time, so its street pattern is less a single grid than a cluster of cores joined by connecting roads. Villas, gardens and older village centres give way to newer residential blocks, while the hillsides to the north remain largely green and lightly built.
An Erba map poster captures this meeting of lake, plain and mountain in a single frame. The lakes provide calm open shapes, the town fills the middle ground with fine streets, and the rising terrain to the north gives the composition a natural edge. It suits anyone who knows the country between Como and Lecco.

Joined village cores
Erba grew from several separate hamlets, and their older centres are still visible on the map as denser knots within the wider residential fabric.
Prealpine edge
To the north the streets stop where the wooded slopes begin, giving the map a strong boundary between the built town and the hills above it.
