Ezhupunna Map Poster & Print
Ezhupunna lies in Alappuzha district in Kerala, on the narrow coastal strip between the Arabian Sea and the Vembanad backwaters. On the map it isn't a compact town but a long ribbon of settlement, stretched along the main highway, with houses, lanes and water channels branching off it on both sides.
This part of Kerala is shaped by water. Canals, ponds and backwater inlets appear throughout the landscape, and houses sit among coconut palms and small plots of land. Narrow lanes lead between homes and waterways, so the street pattern is fine-grained and irregular, following the land and water rather than any grid.
In a monochrome print, Ezhupunna becomes a delicate network of lines and shapes, with the highway as a strong spine and water adding soft, irregular forms. An Ezhupunna map poster is for people who grew up in this landscape of backwaters, lanes and coast, or who are carrying it with them elsewhere.

Pourquoi Ezhupunna
Une carte qui a du sens
Many Malayalis live far from home, in Gulf cities or elsewhere in India. A map of Ezhupunna is a quiet way to keep the village present, with its lanes and water visible on the wall every day.
Add your own title and subtitle, such as a family house name or date, and keep the coordinates. Choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The digital files cost $9, or order a printed poster with optional frame.
