Falkenberg Map Poster & Print
Falkenberg lies on the coast of Halland in south-western Sweden, at the mouth of the Ätran river on the Kattegat. The river is known for its salmon, and fishing it has a long tradition. On the map, the Ätran runs through the town in a curve before reaching the sea, splitting the older quarters from the newer districts.
The old town sits on the river bank, a small area of low wooden houses and narrow lanes around the old church of St Laurentii. The Tullbron, an eighteenth-century stone bridge, crosses the Ätran here. South of town, Skrea strand is a long, straight sandy beach that gives the coastline a clean, simple line.
A Falkenberg map poster brings the river, the old quarter and the seashore together in one frame. The mix of curving water, dense historic streets and the smooth edge of the coast makes it one of the more balanced small-town maps on the Swedish west coast.

Old town and Tullbron
The historic quarter near the river keeps a close pattern of small streets. The old stone Tullbron bridge links it across the water to the other side of town.
Skrea strand
A long sandy beach runs south along the coast from the town. On the poster it forms a smooth, uninterrupted edge between land and sea.

Pourquoi Falkenberg
Une carte qui a du sens
Falkenberg holds summer memories for many Swedes and visitors: the beach at Skrea, salmon season on the Ätran, evenings in the old town. A map poster keeps that coastline and river close all year, in a form that suits calm Scandinavian rooms.
Add a personal title and subtitle, perhaps a summer house address or a year, and adjust the coordinates line. Then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint makes the coast look crisp, and Paper feels softer.
