Freising Map Poster
Freising lies on the Isar, north of Munich, and is one of the oldest towns in Bavaria. From above, two hills stand out immediately. The Domberg carries the cathedral and the former prince-bishops' buildings, and to the west Weihenstephan hill rises above the river meadows. The old town sits between them, with a long main street and narrow side lanes.
Weihenstephan is known for its brewery, which claims to be the oldest in the world still in operation. The hill is also home to the life sciences campus of the Technical University of Munich and a university of applied sciences, so the slopes are covered with research buildings, gardens and trial fields.
East of town, the Isar floodplain opens toward Munich airport. Its long parallel runways appear on the wider map as a hard modern geometry. A Freising map poster places medieval hills, a braided river valley and one of Europe's major airports in the same frame, and each is clearly readable.

Isar floodplain
The river and its green meadows run along the east of town toward the airport. It is a broad, soft band across the map.

Pourquoi Freising
Une carte qui a du sens
TUM students at Weihenstephan, airport staff who chose to live in the old town, and families rooted in Freising all know these two hills well. The map shows the town clearly, without turning it into a postcard.
You can add a title, a subtitle such as a year or course of study, and coordinates. Choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters are available on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame.
