Sandy spit
The town occupies a long, narrow spit of land. From above it looks like a thin finger between sea and river, the defining feature of the poster.

Gangolli Map Poster & Print
Gangolli is a coastal town in Udupi district, Karnataka, opposite Kundapura on the other side of a broad estuary. It sits on a narrow strip of land where rivers meet the Arabian Sea, so water surrounds it on nearly every side. On a map the town is a slender shape, with the open sea on the west and the calm estuary on the east.
Fishing shapes both the economy and the layout. Boats gather at the harbour on the river side, and lanes of houses and coconut groves fill the spit behind the beach. Streets run along the length of the land, cut by short lanes leading down to the water. At the tip, where the estuary opens to the sea, the landform narrows to a point.
A Gangolli map poster captures one of the most striking coastal shapes on Karnataka's shoreline. A thin strip of settlement is held between two very different bodies of water. It suits families from the town and nearby Kundapura, people from coastal Karnataka living in Bengaluru, Mumbai or the Gulf, and anyone who loves estuary landscapes.

Estuary and harbour
On the eastern side a wide estuary separates Gangolli from Kundapura. Its sheltered waters hold the fishing harbour and many boats.
Arabian Sea coast
The western edge is an open beach facing the Arabian Sea. It is a long, straight shoreline that contrasts with the curving estuary banks.

Pourquoi Gangolli
Une carte qui a du sens
For people from coastal Karnataka, the smell of the sea and the sight of fishing boats are deeply tied to home. A Gangolli map poster keeps that thin strip of land between river and ocean on the wall wherever work has taken them.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, with a family name, a festival date or a home address. Choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint brings out the water well.
