La carte
Garhwa Map Poster & Print
Garhwa is the headquarters of Garhwa district in the north-western corner of Jharkhand, close to the state's borders with Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Bihar. On the map, the town has a compact centre from which streets spread outward along main roads, with residential areas filling the land between them and fields and scrub lying beyond.
The district sits on the edge of the Chota Nagpur plateau, so the country around Garhwa is more varied than the flat plains further north, with low hills, patches of forest and river valleys. Roads and railway lines connect the town to the wider region, drawing clear lines through the surrounding landscape and giving the map a sense of direction.
A Garhwa map poster suits those who grew up in the town, work in the district or have family across this border region of Jharkhand. In a minimal black-and-white rendering, the compact street network, the routes leading away from it and the open, rolling ground around the town combine into a quiet composition that is easy to recognise.
