La carte
Gubin Map Poster & Print
Gubin lies on the eastern bank of the Lusatian Neisse, which has marked the border between Poland and Germany since 1945. Until then Gubin and Guben on the western bank were a single town. The river divided it, and the old centre ended up on the Polish side. On a map, the two towns face each other across the water, joined by bridges.
The town's best-known landmark is the ruin of its large Gothic parish church, which has been partly restored in cooperation with the German side. Theatre Island (Wyspa Teatralna) lies in the river between the two towns. Around the old centre, residential streets spread over gently rising ground, with parks and woodland at the edges.
A Gubin map poster shows a divided place that has learned to work as one. The river runs through the middle of the composition, with bridges and an island between two street networks. It suits anyone with roots in the region, people interested in European border history, and residents of both Gubin and Guben.

Theatre Island
A small island sits in the river between the towns. It is a quiet green feature on the map and a clear symbol of the shared town centre.
Border bridges
Bridges cross the Neisse and connect Polish and German streets. They are small but important details in a map about connection and division.

Pourquoi Gubin
Une carte qui a du sens
Gubin tells a story that is visible from above: one town split by a river and a border, slowly growing together again. That makes the poster both a strong graphic image and a conversation piece, especially for people connected to the region.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with Gubin and Guben together or a meaningful year. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. HD files cost $9, and printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
