Limestone islands
Countless islands and islets fill the bay south of the city. Their irregular outlines turn the water into an intricate field of shapes across the poster.

La carte
Hạ Long Map Poster & Print
Hạ Long faces Ha Long Bay, and the map shows that immediately. The city stretches along the northern shore of the bay. It is divided into two main parts, Bãi Cháy to the west and Hòn Gai to the east, by the narrow Cửa Lục strait. The Bãi Cháy Bridge spans the gap and ties the two halves together.
The bay itself is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its many limestone islands and islets rising from the water. On the map they appear as a dense scatter of irregular shapes that thins out as it spreads south and east from the shore, like a separate landscape just beyond the city's edge.
Behind the waterfront the land rises into hills, and the streets follow the flatter ground by the sea. A Hạ Long map poster places the urban strip alongside the water and islands. Promenades, reclaimed land and the strait's inner lagoon add further detail. It is a composition where the sea takes up as much space as the city.

Cửa Lục strait
The narrow strait separates Bãi Cháy from Hòn Gai and opens into an inner bay. It creates a clear break through the middle of the city.
Bãi Cháy Bridge
The bridge crosses the strait and joins the two halves of the city. It is a single, clear line over water linking west and east.

Pourquoi Hạ Long
Une carte qui a du sens
Ha Long Bay is on many people's list of unforgettable places, and the city on its shore is home to many others. A map combining streets, strait and islands tells both stories in one frame.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a travel date or family name. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint makes the scattered islands stand out especially well.
