Hanwella Ihala Map Poster & Print
Hanwella Ihala lies in Colombo District in Sri Lanka's Western Province, east of the capital along the main road inland toward Avissawella. The Kelani River flows past the town, and from above its broad meanders are the most striking feature, curving through a green landscape of plantations, paddy fields and homesteads.
The built-up area follows the main road and spreads outward along smaller lanes, leaving plenty of green space between houses. This is a part of Sri Lanka where the flat coastal lowlands begin to give way to rolling land, and the terrain gently shapes the pattern of roads.
A Hanwella Ihala map poster pairs the strong, looping line of the Kelani with the finer network of roads and lanes around it. The result is a soft, balanced print that suits anyone with family ties to this stretch of the river.

Pourquoi Hanwella Ihala
Une carte qui a du sens
Hanwella is a familiar name to anyone who has travelled inland from Colombo, and home to many families who live by the river. A map of its roads and the Kelani is a warm reminder of home for those living in Colombo or abroad.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates with a family name, a Sinhala or Tamil spelling, or a date. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint makes the river's curves especially clear.
