La carte
Hegeng Map Poster & Print
Hegeng is a town in the west of Chongqing municipality, in hilly farming country well away from the dense towers of the central city. From above it looks like a small, concentrated settlement. Streets bunch together on the flattest ground available, and roads leave town along valley floors toward neighbouring towns.
Beyond the centre the map breaks into a fine pattern of fields, paths and scattered houses. In this part of Chongqing, farmland follows the slopes, so the plots are small and irregular rather than square. Water appears as small ponds and channels between them. The result is a detailed but calm background that surrounds the town's core.
A Hegeng map poster is a portrait of a working rural town at close range. Nothing about it is monumental. Its interest lies in how the settlement fits into its landscape, with a few main streets, a thickening where they meet and a fringe of countryside that fades out toward the edges of the frame.

Compact centre
Buildings and short streets cluster tightly at the heart of town, forming a dense knot that stands out sharply against the open countryside.
Hillside plots
Small, uneven fields and ponds cover the slopes around town. The fine texture shows how farming here adapts to the hills.

Pourquoi Hegeng
Une carte qui a du sens
For people from Hegeng who have moved to Chongqing's city districts or further away, the map is a quiet reminder of home. It shows the real streets and fields rather than a generic image of the region.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with the town's name in Chinese and a family date. Pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Start with the free watermarked preview to check the framing before buying.
