La carte
Hollywood Map Poster & Print
Hollywood, Florida, sits in Broward County between Fort Lauderdale and Miami, and its map is set by water running north and south. The Atlantic beach forms the eastern edge, the Intracoastal Waterway runs just inland with a narrow barrier island between them, and the mainland city spreads west in a largely regular pattern of streets.
The city was founded in the 1920s by developer Joseph W. Young, who laid it out as a planned resort. Hollywood Boulevard still runs from the beach to the west and passes through large traffic circles, including Young Circle downtown. On the beach, the Broadwalk promenade follows the sand for about two and a half miles.
A Hollywood map poster shows a city built to a design. The long straight boulevard, the round circles and the parallel lines of beach, island and waterway give the print a clear, architectural structure, softened by the curving streets of the residential areas and the lakes along the Intracoastal.

The Broadwalk
A beachfront promenade runs along the barrier island, parallel to the ocean. On the map it forms a sharp edge between the sand and the built-up strip.
Intracoastal Waterway
The waterway separates the beach from the mainland, with bridges crossing it and small lakes and inlets branching off. It gives the eastern part of the print its layered look.

Pourquoi Hollywood
Une carte qui a du sens
Hollywood is where many people spent winters, retired, or moved with young families, and a map of the city holds all of that in one simple image. The parallel lines of ocean and waterway suit coastal and modern interiors.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a street name, a family name or the year you arrived. Five styles are available: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand.
