La carte
Idlib Map Poster & Print
Idlib lies in north-western Syria, on a gently rolling plain between Aleppo and the Mediterranean coastal mountains. On a map the city has a compact, roughly circular shape: a dense old centre of narrow streets and courtyards, newer districts with broader avenues around it, and beyond them a wide expanse of agricultural land crossed by country roads.
The surrounding region has long been known for olive cultivation, and groves stretch across much of the countryside. The province also contains some of Syria's most important archaeological sites, including Ebla, an ancient city-state excavated at Tell Mardikh to the south-east, and many of the late antique settlements known as the Dead Cities.
An Idlib map poster presents the city as it is laid out on the ground: a clear centre, radiating roads, and open land all around. Rendered without names or colour, the map keeps attention on the shape of the place itself, a record of streets and neighbourhoods that holds personal meaning for many people now living far from them.

Radiating roads
Highways and country roads fan out toward Aleppo, Latakia and nearby towns, drawing long lines across the plain that frame the city.
Olive country
Outside the urban edge, fields and groves fill the land in a loose grid of tracks and plots, giving the poster a calm, open border.

Pourquoi Idlib
Une carte qui a du sens
Many families from Idlib now live in Turkey, Europe and beyond, and a map of the city can hold memories of home, a childhood street or a family house. It is a quiet, respectful way to keep that connection visible.
You can set the title and subtitle, including a name in your own words or a meaningful date, and edit the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, as HD files or a printed poster.
