Paddy field grid
The farmland around the settlement is split into small, regular plots, which creates a dense geometric texture across most of the map.

La carte
Ishinari Map Poster & Print
Ishinari sits on the flat farmland of eastern Saga Prefecture, not far from the border with Fukuoka. On a map the terrain barely shows itself. Instead the land is organised by water: drainage lines, irrigation channels and the rectangular blocks of fields they feed. Housing clusters along the roads, and it gives way to cultivated land within a few streets.
This part of Kyushu belongs to the broad plain that drains toward the Ariake Sea, and generations of farming have made it highly geometric. From above, the paddy plots form a fine grid, cut through by longer roads and rail lines running across the plain. Small shrines, schools and village centres appear as denser knots in the pattern.
An Ishinari map poster suits anyone who likes quiet, orderly landscapes. There is no dramatic coastline or skyline here. There are thin lines of water and road, repeated with patience across level ground, and in monochrome that repetition comes across as rhythm rather than emptiness.

Irrigation channels
Narrow waterways follow field edges and roads. They are typical of the Saga plain and draw fine parallel lines through the print.
Roadside settlement
Homes and local buildings gather along the main roads in compact strips, with open fields pressing in on either side.
