Itanhém Map Poster & Print
Itanhém is in the far south of Bahia, inland from the coast and not far from the border with Minas Gerais. The surrounding land is a series of low, rolling hills, much of it cleared for pasture over the past century. The town appears on a map as a compact grid of streets on the gently sloping ground, with country roads leaving it in several directions.
The municipality shares its name with the Itanhém river, which drains this part of southern Bahia toward the Atlantic. Cattle ranching has long been central to the local economy, and the town serves as a supply and market centre for the surrounding farms. Its streets are laid out fairly regularly, with a central square and main avenues forming the core.
An Itanhém map poster shows a simple, orderly town set against a wide, open landscape. The grid gathers at the centre, a few roads wind away across the hills, and the space around it conveys the scale of the surrounding countryside. It is a calm, clearly structured print.

Winding country roads
Roads leave town and curve across the rolling ground toward neighbouring towns and farms. They form soft lines across the open space.
Rolling pasture land
Low hills and pasture surround the town. On the map they leave broad empty margins around the streets.
