Itapoá Map Poster & Print
Itapoá lies on the northern coast of Santa Catarina, close to the border with Paraná. Seen from above, it is mostly a thin band of settlement running parallel to the Atlantic, with a straight beach on one side and green, lower ground inland. Streets are laid out in a repeating grid of short blocks that meet the shore at right angles, giving the town an orderly, ladder-like pattern.
At its southern end the coast turns toward Babitonga Bay, and there the grid gives way to the large, rectilinear footprint of Porto Itapoá, a container terminal facing São Francisco do Sul across the water. That contrast between holiday streets and industrial quays is one of the more unusual things about the map, and it is easy to follow on a print.
An Itapoá map poster works well in a tall or wide format, because the town is long rather than round. The beach line runs almost uninterrupted, cross streets tick off the distance like a scale, and the bay adds a softer, curved edge at one end. The inland side fades into fewer roads, so the composition has a clear direction from sea to land.

Beach-side grid
Short, regular blocks run between the coast road and inland avenues, creating a repeating pattern that reads clearly in black and white.
Port on the bay
Near Babitonga Bay the grid meets the broad, geometric outline of the container port, a very different shape from the residential streets to the north.

Pourquoi Itapoá
Une carte qui a du sens
Itapoá is a place of summer houses and long beach walks, and its map holds that simple rhythm of shore and street. It makes a clean, graphic piece for a hallway or a coastal-themed room.
Add the name of your street or a holiday year to the title and subtitle, adjust the coordinates line, and pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand pairs naturally with a beach town.
