Central block pattern
The historic centre is drawn as a tight mesh of short, regular blocks and open squares, clearly denser than anything around it and easy to pick out at any print size.

Jacarezinho Map Poster & Print
Jacarezinho sits in the north of Paraná, in the region known as Norte Pioneiro, close to the border with São Paulo state. From above, the town reads as a tidy block pattern at its centre that loosens into longer, curving roads as it meets the surrounding hills and cultivated fields.
The town is the seat of a Catholic diocese, and its religious institutions have long shaped the life of the centre. On a map, that civic core shows as the densest cluster of short blocks and squares. Outward from it, residential streets stretch in parallel bands, and small watercourses cut soft diagonals through the otherwise orderly layout.
A Jacarezinho map poster keeps all of this in plain black lines: the central squares, the spreading neighbourhoods and the roads that run out towards the farms and neighbouring towns. Without colour or labels in the way, the relationship between planned grid and natural terrain becomes the whole subject of the print.

Stream-cut edges
Small streams and shallow valleys interrupt the grid, forcing streets to curve or stop. These breaks give the outer neighbourhoods an irregular, organic outline on the page.
Roads to the countryside
Longer roads leave the town in several directions towards farmland and the São Paulo border region, drawing thin lines that anchor the town within its wider landscape.

Pourquoi Jacarezinho
Une carte qui a du sens
For people who grew up in Jacarezinho or studied there, the map is a familiar shape to have on the wall: the square where they met friends, the street of a family home, the road out of town. Seen as pure line work, it feels personal without being sentimental.
You can add your own title, a subtitle such as a family name or date, and a coordinates line, then choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The HD download costs $9 and includes six print sizes, or you can order a printed poster.
