Jaguarari Map Poster & Print
Jaguarari lies in the semi-arid interior of northern Bahia, the landscape Brazilians call the sertão. On a map the town is a compact cluster of streets surrounded by wide, lightly marked terrain, with roads reaching out across dry country towards nearby towns such as Senhor do Bonfim. The contrast between the dense centre and the sparse land around it is strong.
The municipality is known for copper. The Caraíba mining operation in the district of Pilar has made Jaguarari one of the country's notable copper-producing areas, and that industry gives this quiet inland region a significance well beyond its size. The mine area forms its own separate settlement pattern away from the town itself.
A Jaguarari map poster captures a place defined by distance: a grid of streets holding together against a broad, open backcountry. In black and white the town reads like a small, deliberate mark on a large page, which suits a landscape where every road matters and every settlement is a meeting point.

Copper mining district
The Pilar district, home to the Caraíba copper operation, sits apart from the main town and adds a second, more industrial cluster within the municipality.
Roads across the sertão
Long regional roads leave the town across semi-arid land, drawing thin, confident lines that connect Jaguarari with the rest of northern Bahia.
