Kirkuk–Sulaymaniyah road
The main highway crosses the town from end to end. It is the strongest line on the print, and the rest of Jamjamāl is organised around it.

La carte
Jamjamāl Map Poster & Print
Jamjamāl, often written Chamchamal, lies in Sulaymaniyah Governorate in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. It sits on the main road linking Kirkuk to the city of Sulaymaniyah. That road is the backbone of the map: a firm line running through the town, with neighbourhoods branching off it on both sides and fading into open land.
The setting is transitional. To the south-west the land opens toward the plains around Kirkuk, and to the north-east the first long ridges of the Zagros begin to rise. Around the town, seasonal streams and dry valleys leave faint marks between the built-up blocks. Much of the street pattern is fairly recent and was laid out in broad, regular sections.
A Jamjamāl map poster is a spare, honest picture of a regional town. It shows one major road, a cluster of neighbourhoods, and hills that start where the streets stop. In black and white the landscape stays quiet, and the sheet is defined by the dense core of the town and the long road passing through it.

Foothill edge
Beyond the last streets, the ground climbs toward the first Zagros ridges. It gives the town a clear boundary between settled blocks and open slopes.
Planned districts
Newer neighbourhoods follow fairly regular block layouts. On the map they read as tidy rectangles beside the older, less even streets near the centre.
