Jussara Map Poster & Print
Jussara is a municipality in the interior of Bahia, in the semi-arid country known as the sertão, north of the Chapada Diamantina highlands. The town is small and compact, and on a map it forms a tidy block of streets surrounded by a wide expanse of countryside crossed by dirt roads and farm boundaries.
The streets follow the loose grid typical of towns in Brazil's interior, organised around a central square and main church, with longer roads leaving for neighbouring towns. The surrounding land belongs to the Irecê region, a farming area on a high plateau, where the pattern of fields and tracks is often clearer from above than the town itself.
A Jussara map poster frames this simple structure: a small, dense core in the middle and open ground around it. The town is a short distance from its neighbour, Central, and both share the same dry, open landscape. The map suits anyone who knows the roads in and out of town and the view across the plateau.

Plateau roads
Straight rural roads lead out across the flat land toward neighbouring municipalities, forming long lines that reach the edges of the poster.
Open sertão
Around the town the map thins into fields and tracks, a sparse outer area that reflects the dry, spacious landscape of interior Bahia.
