Kalghatgi Map Poster & Print
Kalghatgi is a town in the Dharwad district of northern Karnataka, southwest of Hubballi. It stands where the open plains begin to give way to the wooded country of the Western Ghats foothills. As the headquarters of its taluk, it serves a wide rural area, and its roads connect it with Hubballi, Dharwad and the forest towns to the west.
The town is known across Karnataka for its painted wooden cradles and toys, made by local craftsmen and traditionally given for the birth of a child. On a map, Kalghatgi appears as a compact cluster of streets around the market and the main road, with tanks, farmland and small villages spread around it.
A Kalghatgi map poster keeps the drawing simple: the market town centre, the roads leading out and the rural landscape around them. It is a fitting keepsake for families from the town, or a gift that carries the same spirit as one of its cradles.

Pourquoi Kalghatgi
Une carte qui a du sens
Kalghatgi's wooden cradles are given to welcome new life, and a map of the town can do something similar: record a birthplace, a family home or a place where a story began.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, for example with a child's name and birth date. Then choose from five styles. The HD files are $9, and printed posters are available on matte paper.
