Highland terrain
Hills and valleys shape the landscape, and roads curve to follow them, giving the edges of the map soft, winding lines rather than a regular grid.

La carte
Kercha Map Poster & Print
Kercha lies in the Oromia region of southern Ethiopia, in the highlands of the Guji area. On the map, the town appears as a small cluster of streets along a main road, surrounded by hills, valleys and scattered farmsteads. The terrain is uneven, and the roads follow ridges and valleys rather than straight lines.
This part of southern Ethiopia is known for its coffee, grown in the cool, green highlands. Much of the surrounding land is farmed by smallholders, and the map shows a landscape of footpaths and rural tracks linking homesteads across the slopes.
A Kercha map poster presents a compact town within a broad, rolling countryside. The main road, the dense centre and the fine network of paths beyond give the design a quiet, organic structure. For those from the area or linked to Ethiopian coffee, it makes a meaningful piece to hang.
