La carte
Konch Map Poster & Print
Konch is a town in the Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh, in the Bundelkhand region of northern India. The country around it is broad and flat, farmed plain crossed by roads that head out to neighbouring towns and villages. From above, the town shows up as a tight knot of streets surrounded by open fields.
The centre is dense and irregular, with narrow lanes that bend and branch rather than following a planned grid. Toward the edges the pattern loosens, and newer streets are more widely spaced. Field boundaries take over past them, dividing the land into small agricultural plots.
A Konch map poster shows the typical shape of a north Indian market town, with a close-grained core, roads leading outward like spokes, and farmland pressing in on every side. In a minimalist print, the contrast between the crowded centre and the quiet fields gives the sheet a clear focal point.

Roads to the region
Several roads leave the town in different directions, linking it with other settlements in Jalaun district across the plain.
Surrounding farmland
Beyond the built-up area, small field plots cover the flat land and give the edges of the poster a fine, even texture.

Pourquoi Konch
Une carte qui a du sens
People who have left home for work or study elsewhere often like to carry a picture of it. A map of Konch keeps the lanes and roads of a familiar town on the wall, wherever you end up living.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can all be changed, for example to a family name, a Hindi title or a special date. You can then choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
