Curving arterials
Wide roads loop around the hillsides and meet at large junctions, giving the map sweeping curves unlike the straight grids of cities on flat land.

La carte
Lijia Map Poster & Print
Lijia is in the northern part of Chongqing, the vast city-municipality built on the hills where the Jialing River meets the Yangtze. Like much of the northern city, it has changed quickly in recent years, as farmland and villages have been replaced by new residential and commercial developments.
The map shows how Chongqing's terrain shapes everything. Roads cannot follow a simple grid: they curve around hills, cross valleys on viaducts and link up at large interchanges. Between them, groups of tall residential towers stand in compact blocks, and green slopes remain where the ground is too steep to build.
A Lijia map poster captures this modern mountain city pattern of curving roads, dense blocks and remaining hills. It is suited to people who have moved to one of the new neighbourhoods here, or to those who know northern Chongqing as home.

Tower clusters
New residential complexes appear as tight groups of buildings between the roads, a pattern typical of fast-growing districts in Chongqing.
Green slopes
Steep hills and valleys remain unbuilt in places, leaving pale open shapes between neighbourhoods and making the terrain visible on a flat map.
