La carte
Ludlow Map Poster & Print
Ludlow lies in western Massachusetts, just east of Springfield, with the Chicopee River forming its northern boundary. From above, the town's historic centre sits close to the river, where mill buildings and dams once powered local industry. Beyond it, streets spread outward into a looser, suburban pattern among woods and ponds.
In the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, Ludlow's mills were known for their jute and textile production, and the large mill complex by the river remains a defining feature of the town. The Massachusetts Turnpike also crosses Ludlow, its long curve cutting across the map and marking the town's connection to the wider region.
A Ludlow map poster balances these elements. The Chicopee River provides a strong, winding edge, the old mill district forms a denser cluster by the water and the residential streets and woodland fill the rest of the frame. It is a calm, typically New England image of a town shaped by river and industry.

The mill district
Large mill buildings near the river, once centres of jute and textile production, form a distinct, denser area on the map close to the water.
The Turnpike
The Massachusetts Turnpike crosses the town in a long, smooth curve, a clear modern line that contrasts with the older, more irregular streets.
