Luján Map Poster & Print
Luján lies on the pampas west of Buenos Aires, on the banks of the river that shares its name. It is the country's main pilgrimage site. The neo-Gothic Basilica of Our Lady of Luján, with its two tall spires, stands over the central square, and every year large crowds walk here from the capital.
On the map, Luján follows the classic Argentine pattern of square blocks set out in a regular grid. The river cuts through it in a winding line, with parks and green space along its banks. The main square and the basilica sit at the heart of the plan, and the grid continues outward into newer neighbourhoods and open farmland.
A Luján map poster brings together the order of the grid and the looseness of the river. It suits anyone who has made the pilgrimage, families from the town, and people in Buenos Aires with ties to the area. In black and white, the long walking routes and the central square are easy to trace.

Luján River
The river winds through the city, with green space along its banks. Its curves break up the otherwise regular pattern of blocks.
Pampas grid
Square blocks spread outward in a steady rhythm. They thin out into farmland at the edges and give the map a calm, even texture.

Pourquoi Luján
Une carte qui a du sens
For many Argentines, Luján is tied to faith, family traditions and the long walk from Buenos Aires. A map of the city marks that journey. It also makes a meaningful gift for a wedding, a first communion or someone who grew up near the basilica.
You can personalise the title, the subtitle and the coordinates, in Spanish or with the date of a pilgrimage. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. It comes as a $9 HD file set or a printed matte poster with an optional wooden frame.
