Luobei Map Poster & Print
Luobei is the seat of a county in Hegang, in the far north-east of Heilongjiang, and the county stretches north to the Amur River along the border with Russia. The town itself lies inland, at the edge of the Lesser Khingan range where the forested hills begin to level out, and the map shows a modest, orderly settlement surrounded by open country.
Its streets follow a largely regular pattern, with wide main roads, long residential blocks and the rectangular footprints of newer housing. Rivers and streams from the hills cross the surrounding land, and farm roads divide the fields into long strips. Winters here are long and cold, and the landscape between towns is mostly given over to agriculture and woodland.
A Luobei map poster is a study in simple structure: a clear urban centre, a few roads leading out into the countryside and the fine lines of rivers flowing north toward the border. Framed with enough surrounding land, it gives a strong sense of how remote and open this corner of China is.

Rivers to the Amur
Streams and rivers descend from the hills across the county, their thin, wandering lines heading toward the Amur on the Russian border.
Forested edges
Toward the Lesser Khingan foothills the road network thins out, leaving wide calm spaces that give the poster a sense of scale and distance.

Pourquoi Luobei
Une carte qui a du sens
Luobei is home to people with deep ties to the forests and farms of the north-east, and a map of the town is a personal way to remember it far from home. Its simple outline reads especially well on a larger print.
You can write your own title, add a subtitle with a year or a family name and keep or edit the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and get HD files or a printed poster.
