Lynbrook Map Poster & Print
Lynbrook is an incorporated village in Nassau County on the South Shore of Long Island, a short distance east of the Queens border. It is small and fully built up, and on a map it forms a neat patch of residential streets with a commercial centre around the Long Island Rail Road station.
The village's name has a well-known origin. Formerly called Pearsalls, it was renamed in the 1890s by reversing the syllables of Brooklyn, where many of its residents had come from. That tie to the city is still present in the map, where the railway and the main roads point west toward New York.
A Lynbrook map poster shows the classic structure of a railroad suburb. Straight streets form tidy blocks. The railway and Sunrise Highway cross the village from east to west, and small parks and ponds add a few pale shapes to an otherwise dense, even pattern of lines.

Sunrise Highway
The highway runs east–west through the village, a wider, straighter line that divides the grid and connects Lynbrook with neighbouring South Shore towns.
Residential blocks
Tree-lined streets form a tight, mostly rectangular grid. The pattern is uniform enough to feel calm and detailed enough to reward a closer look.

Pourquoi Lynbrook
Une carte qui a du sens
Lynbrook is where many New York families moved for a yard and a short train ride into the city, and a map of it often marks that step. Add your street, your move-in year or a nod to the Brooklyn anagram.
Five styles are available: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Classic and Blueprint suit the orderly grid. You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line.
