La carte
Mastung Map Poster & Print
Mastung is a town in Balochistan, Pakistan, in a high valley south of Quetta. The climate is dry, winters are cold, and the surrounding mountains are mostly bare rock. In this setting, the valley floor stands out as a place where water can be gathered for farming, and orchards and fields have long been part of the landscape.
On the map, the town forms a compact cluster of streets and bazaars on the valley floor. Around it, the farmland shows up as a patchwork of plots and orchard blocks. Further out, the mountain ridges rise sharply, and the main road runs through the valley toward Quetta in the north and to towns further south.
A Mastung map poster shows how settlement follows water and flat ground in a mountain landscape. The dense town, the cultivated ring and the empty ridges beyond make a clear three-part composition. For people from the valley, it is an understated picture of home.

Orchard ring
Fields and orchards surround the town, fed by carefully managed water. Their plot pattern forms a textured band between the streets and the mountains.
Road through the valley
The main road runs through the valley toward Quetta. On the poster it is a long, steady line that ties the town to the wider province.
