La carte
Mohammadia Map Poster & Print
Mohammadia lies in Mascara province in northwest Algeria, on the Habra plain between the Tell hills and the coast east of Oran. Known in the colonial period as Perrégaux, it grew as an agricultural centre and a stop on the railway, and its plan shows that history: a rectilinear street grid, a rail line passing through and farmland running out in every direction.
The plain is irrigated and intensively farmed, with citrus orchards among its best-known crops. On a map this gives the town a very clean frame: straight rural roads and field boundaries continue the lines of the urban grid, and newer districts extend outward in larger, more loosely arranged blocks on the edges.
A Mohammadia map poster presents a town defined by order: the grid at its heart, the plain around it and the roads leading toward Mascara, Oran and the coast. For people with roots in the town, now living in Oran, Algiers or abroad, it is a clear and personal image of home.

Pourquoi Mohammadia
Une carte qui a du sens
Mohammadia is a place people carry with them: a childhood street, a market, the orchards outside town. A map poster keeps that geography on the wall in a calm and simple form that sits comfortably in any room.
You can write the title in your own way, add a family name or date in the subtitle, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose between five styles, then download the HD files for $9 or order a matte printed poster with an optional frame.
