Mount Vernon Map Poster & Print
Mount Vernon is the seat of Knox County in central Ohio, built on the north bank of the Kokosing River. On a map the river runs along the southern edge of the town, and Main Street heads straight north from it through the historic centre to the public square. A regular grid of streets fills the land on either side.
The town was named after George Washington's estate in Virginia, and its square, with a Civil War monument at its centre, remains the heart of downtown. Mount Vernon is also the home of Mount Vernon Nazarene University, whose campus sits on the edge of town. Further east, the Kokosing Gap Trail follows an old rail line along the river.
A Mount Vernon map poster shows a classic Midwestern county seat: a grid set against a river, a central square, and roads heading out through rolling farmland. The structure is easy to read, which makes it an especially clean monochrome print. It suits people who grew up here as well as those who studied or settled nearby.

Pourquoi Mount Vernon
Une carte qui a du sens
Mount Vernon is where people come home for Thanksgiving, where they studied, married or raised children. A map of the town, from the river to the square, is a personal gift for alumni, newlyweds or anyone with Knox County roots.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a name, date or street. Then pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper suits the town's brick-and-square character well.
